Foodie Mondays: Doughnuts Recipe

Hey guys! I’ve been on the hunt for the closest Krispy Kreme original glazed doughnut recipe. I tried the first recipe I stumbled upon and it was BEYOND perfect!
Here’s the recipe as well as a video showing you how to make it 😀

RECIPE:-
Ingredients:
•1/4 C Luke warm water
•1 Packet dry yeast
•3/4 C Warm whole milk
•1/4 stick butter (or coconut oil)
•2 tbsp Raw sugar
•1 organic cage free egg
•2 C unbleached organic all-purpose flour
•Oil for frying

Directions:
•Mix water, yeast, milk, coconut oil, sugar and egg together.
•Add the flour and mix thoroughly
•Cover mixture for ONE hour
•After the hour has passed, roll it out on a clean floured surface
•Cut out the doughnuts using cookie cutters (biggest and smallest sizes)
•Gently place them on parchment paper and cover
•Leave them for about 30 more minutes
•While they’re sitting, make the glaze
– Mix 1C powdered sugar, 3 tbsp water, 1/4 stick butter (or coconut oil) and 1/4 tsp vanilla extract (or the inside scarping of half a vanilla bean)
•Deep fry the doughnuts
•Take them our on a cooling wrack or paper towels and glaze when they’re cool
