Whether I’m super lazy in the morning or dead on the couch after a big meal, one ingredient seems to work well for me to regain that energy and that is ginger!
Honestly, it wasn’t a favorite ingredient of mine until it proved its worth. And now, it’s a favorite!
By now you should all know that I’m turning into a sustainable /eco friendly tree hugger.. hence my new blog: TreeHuggingEnthusiast. I started that blog to raise awareness and to show people that you can still live meaningful fun lives without doing it at the expense of the environment. So even though I have a blog dedicated just for that, I’ll share a few bags you can switch to/get to make life more green 🙂
For those of you who know me and my business, this shouldn’t be anything new to you but for those that don’t know about my business, here’s a little story.
I love making handmade products and I created my business PRNTS n PATTERNS and started selling stuff. Recently I realized that I was kind of all over the place. So what’s the best thing to do? Restart all over again! 😛 I’m revamping the business and making it more eco-friendly.
Quite a few people are asking me how to be sustainable at home and even though I had written a blog post sometime in the past about it, I think I was pretty general. So now, I’m taking a more personal take and I’m writing what I personally do to true to be sustainable and have a zero waste approach to everyday things.
A few weeks ago I saw a video that my relative had shared on Facebook about “ugly” produce. I knew that a lot of produce was wasted but I never really gave it much thought because I always told myself that I’m buying good stuff and there’s not much that I can personally do. And that’s where I was wrong. There’s actually a lot that can be done and we’re just either lazy or don’t really know what to do.
Did you ever suddenly flip your life and decide that you’ll be healthy? Caring for yourself as well as the environment around you? Well, that’s what happened with me. Eating healthy, everything green and pretty, no throwing away anything. The last part was pretty challenging because I didn’t know whether I could eat things like beet greens or not. I did some research and found that you can definitely use the entire beet. No need to throw anything away!
Here’s how to cook and eat the entire beet 🙂
